What We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you fill out a quote or contact form on our website, call us, or reply to one of our ads, we collect the information you provide. That typically includes:

Your name
Your phone number
Your email address
Your postal code or service address
Details about your home or building relevant to the job — for example the type of space (attic, crawl space, basement, garage), its approximate size, the age of the building, your current insulation, and any moisture or comfort problems you describe
Anything else you choose to write in a message field

We ask for this because we cannot quote an insulation job without it. Please don’t send us sensitive information we haven’t asked for — we don’t need it and we don’t want to hold it.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our analytics and advertising tools automatically collect standard technical information, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and the actions you take on it (such as starting a form, submitting a form, or tapping our phone number). Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why We Collect It

Tools We Use

We use third-party services to run our website, receive your inquiries, and measure our advertising. These providers process information on our behalf, and in some cases collect information directly through your browser.

Google Analytics — measures website traffic and how visitors use our pages. Google may collect your IP address, device information, and browsing activity on our site.
Meta Pixel and Meta advertising (Facebook and Instagram) — tells us when a visit or inquiry came from one of our ads, and helps us reach similar audiences. When you submit a form or tap our phone number, we may send Meta a record of that action. Any contact details included in that record — such as your email address or phone number — are converted into a scrambled, irreversible code (a cryptographic hash) before they are sent, so Meta cannot read them directly. Meta uses that code only to match the action to an existing account.
Google Ads — measures the performance of our search and display advertising.
Form and email providers — the form software on our website and the email service that delivers your submission to our inbox. These providers store your submission so we can receive and act on it.
Website hosting and security providers — keep the site online and protect it from abuse. They handle standard server logs, including IP addresses.

These companies operate their own privacy policies, and some of them store or process information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States. When information is held in another country, it may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country under that country’s laws.

We Do Not Sell Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. We do not share your contact details with other contractors, lead brokers, or marketing lists.

We share your information only with:

The service providers listed above, who may use it only to provide their service to us
Subcontractors or suppliers directly involved in completing your job, and only the details they need to do it
Anyone you have specifically asked us to share it with
Authorities or advisors where we are required or permitted to do so by law, or where it is needed to establish or defend a legal claim

Cookies and Advertising Choices

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Doing so may affect how parts of our website work. You can also manage advertising preferences directly:

How Long We Keep It

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires.

Inquiries that don’t become jobs: we generally keep quote requests for up to two years, so we can follow up and so we have a record if you come back to us later.
Completed jobs: we keep customer and job records for at least seven years, because tax, warranty, and insurance rules require us to.
Website analytics and advertising data: retained according to the settings and standard retention periods of the tools listed above, typically between two and fourteen months.

When we no longer need your information, we delete it or render it anonymous.

How We Protect It

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) transmission of everything submitted through our website, access controls limiting who at our company can see customer records, and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Your Rights

Under PIPEDA you have the right to ask us:

To correct it if it’s wrong or incomplete
To delete it, subject to any records we’re legally required to keep
To stop contacting you, or to withdraw your consent to marketing at any time

Please tell us what you’d like us to do and give us enough detail to find your records — the name, phone number, email address, or address you used when you contacted us. We may need to verify your identity before we act. We will respond within 30 days.

You can unsubscribe from any marketing email using the unsubscribe link in that email, or by replying and asking us to stop. Withdrawing consent to marketing won’t affect work already underway, and we may still need to contact you about an active job.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated. If we make a significant change to how we use your information, we will make that clear on this page.
